When you make a donation to CASIEF, your gift will help provide safe anesthesia and perioperative care globally. Please consider making a donation today.
There are numerous ways that you can help develop anesthesiology capacity in areas of the world that lack access to basic surgical, trauma and obstetric care. Many of these avenues will benefit thousands of people in less fortunate circumstances, while minimizing the cost to you through significant tax advantages.
If you have any questions or require assistance with making a gift, please contact our CAS Membership Staff at email@example.com.
Single and monthly donations are made through our CanadaHelps page. From there, you will be able to select a fund designation from a drop-down menu.
If you wish to give a gift through mail by cheque, please send it to:
Canadian Anesthesiologists’ Society International Education Fund
C/O Canadian Anesthesiologists’ Society
455 Danforth Ave, Unit 469
Toronto, ON Canada
You can make a gift of cash or property by including CASIEF as a beneficiary in your will. This simple form of donation will significantly reduce the tax that would otherwise by paid by your estate- a win-win. Find out more HERE.
You can make a gift larger than you might think otherwise possible by naming CASIEF as the owner and beneficiary of a new or existing life insurance policy. A tax receipt will be issued for the “Fair Market Value” of the policy and tax receipts will be issued to the donor for any future premiums he or she may pay.
By donating securities (stocks, bonds etc) to CASIEF, you can maximize the impact of your gift by avoiding capital gains tax that you would otherwise have to pay upon the sale of the securities, AND receive a tax receipt for the value of the securities. Find out more HERE.
A gift card to a friend, colleague or relative is a great way to honour them in a meaningful way. Consider these for Christmas, birthdays, etc. Find out more HERE.
We are currently recruiting Canadian volunteers for international placements in partner countries.
